Celebrations of Life

You left me alone in uncelebrated celebrations of life,

Forgetting all your promises to stand by me forever.

If these were your intentions from the very beginning,

Why did you come to embark on this journey together?

Once your love ushered me to the adobe of ecstasy,

Where I built blissful castles sprawling in immensity.

My heart couldn't know what went wrong and errant,

That led you demolish my Utopian world recklessly.

You still revel looking me hopelessly gloomy in love,

Even then I no longer struggle to rebuild that lost trust.

I don’t want to wriggle with unceasing pangs anymore,
As now that phase has passed once I was going through.
