Eijaz Khan shoots in the Rann of Kutch for his TV show!
The Rann of Kutch has
turned into Bollywood’s most favorite destination. It is indeed a beautiful
location with white sands spread out as along as your eye can see. For a
moviemaker this makes for great visuals. How can then television be left
behind?
Recently, it was the
show 'Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage', produced by Saba Mumtaz and Rahul Kumar Tewary,
which made the most use of this gem of Gujarat. The show which is a story
between forty-two-year-old Mukhi who is a village headman and twenty two year
old Aru who is a bubbly modern urban girl is majorly shot in Gujarat. It was
for some part of that shooting that the show visited the Rann of Kutch, the
temperature there falls in the extreme, it Is very hot or its very cold. But the lead actor EIjaz Khan who plays the
protagonist Mukhi was not all deterred by the heat.
In the scorching sun, he
gave his best performance and even bonded with the camels he was shooting
with A source on set said that “ One
wouldn’t say for a second that Eijaz was not a local, the way he managed to
work with the camels. He learned camel riding in fifteen minutes flat, not only
that he was even very concerned for the
camel’s well being not allowing anybody to hit the camel. He got so comfortable
with the camel that he used to be able to make the camel sit, stand and even
took him for a walk. What was surprising was that on occasion he even calmed the animal when it
got restless due to the loud voices around it”
Eijaz Khan is known to
give his best to a role and this stint in Kutch just proves that once again.
The show is talked about for its unique content and presentation.
